HOW IT ALL HAPPENS
On your adventure, we will arrange a meeting point and make acquaintance. We will then move on by foot to a designated angling spot on a super Cornish fishing lake. This could be a private lake, a fishery or even an ancient quarry lake, something that we will discuss and plan before setting off on our adventure.
You will have received a full itinerary before meeting on the day, highlighting our location, suggesting what to bring and what to wear to ensure we are all set for our fishing experience.
On arrival at our fishing spot, we highlight the wonderful nature and wildlife that thrives around us and a brief, but concise, 'how to' talk follows, detailing the principles and ideology of our angling methods - and then we focus on learning and experiencing new skills in the lake fishing world.
Callum can offer a number of freshwater fishing packages to suit the needs of your party.
MATCH FISHING EXPERIENCE
(Match basically refers to the type of fishing - feeding maggots to draw in many types of fish).
This is fantastic waggler float fishing at its best, which involves catching good numbers of fish and eventually, hoping a Carp comes along for a bit of fun. A great day out and can be done in any weather as Callum will provide the protection of a bivvy. Fantastic for families, novices and intermediates making it a perfect way to learn some watercraft.
CARP FISHING EXPERIENCE
Cornwall is blessed with fantastic carp fisheries and a session on the Carp makes for a memorable day out. Fishing guide Callum will choose the best fishery based on form, location and any other requirements that you may have to ensure a comfortable and relaxing session.
Armed with all the equipment needed, including a bivvy for those wet Cornish days to help keep you happy and dry, all you need to do is turn up with suitabe clothing and footwear and let Callum take care of the rest. Perfect.
FLY FISHING FOR TROUT
Trout Fishing Experience:
A one to one fly fishing experience in beautiful Cornwall, utilsing some stunning and picturesque lakes and fisheries, allowing for the ultimate introduction to fly fishing for the novice. Please contact us to discuss and book your trout fishing adventure.
We can also provide you with a bespoke one to one fly fishing experience for Cornish Bass and Mullet, angling in the stunning tidal rivers and creeks that Cornwall has to offer. If you would like to dip your toes into the wonderful world of casting a fly, Callum will happily show you the basics, helping you begin the wonderful journey that is fly fishing.

YOUR LAKE FISHING GUIDE
Callum Duncan as an angler, is an absolute all-rounder!
Fishing for Cornish Rays one day and then off wrestling big Wels catfish the next!
His life goal is to catch 1000 species of fish and his motto is “If it's fishing, I'll do it!
When it comes to coarse fishing, Callum knows the lakes of Cornwall extremely well. You can be sure that his tactical nous will help provide you with a great number of tips and tricks to fool the fish.
An avid fly-fisherman, Callum has been trout fishing many years and has a passion for the dynamic style and traditional techniques that Cornish anglers use.
Callum’s favourite thing about angling in Cornwall is learning all about the hidden gems that Cornwall has to offer, those magical experiences that you can find out late on the rocks at night and sitting by a misty lake first thing in the morning. Something that Mr Duncan would just love to share with you.
With 18 years fishing experience under his belt, Callum recalls the first time his father took him fishing where he put a mackerel live bait on his hook. It was from this from this point, he was absolutely hooked!
OUTDOOR SAFETY
All of our guided lake fishing adventures take safety very seriously indeed and we take great care to look after all of our outdoor entusiasts.
Safety is important to us for everyone, so we talk through the dangers and importance of safety in our surroundings.
Please bear in mind that the terrain can occasionally be slippery and may not be for everyone in terms of accessibility.
If you have special requirements we may still be able to provide an adventure for you based on an appropriately accessible location. Do give us a shout and we'll always do our very best to make it happen.
And just as a general rule of thumb for all to note...sensible footwear is a must. Walking/outdoor work boots in favour of flip flops! We will send you full details when you book your adventure.
INDIVIDUAL LAKE FISHING EXPERIENCE
A guided lake fishing experience aimed at those people who wish to dip their toes into the wonderful world of coarse fishing in beautiful Cornwall.
This ticket is for an individual angler.
The minimum age for this trip is 18 unless a parent or guardian will be present for the whole trip.

PAIRED LAKE FISHING EXPERIENCE
Why not get hands on outdoors exclusively with a friend or partner and enjoy a memorable experience in Cornwall.

CANCELLATION POLICY
IF YOU CANCEL
If you have booked an adventure and you cancel it with less that 24 hours notice, then we will expect you to pay the cost of that session. If you cancel an adventure with more than 24 hours notice then any funds paid by you, minus a cancellation fee of £20 will be repaid to you in full within 3 working days.
IF WE CANCEL
On occasion we may have to cancel an Adventure. This may occur because of a number of reasons, such as that the weather conditions are not suitable, or the location is unavailable.
If a cancellation occurs in this situation, then we will offer you another scheduled Adventure without further charge to you or offer you a refund of our fees for that Adventure, which will be paid within 5 working days.
